Documents Required for Solar Subsidy Application in Gujarat
A checklist of every document the portal and your DISCOM will ask for - at application, at installation and at subsidy claim stage.

Stage 1 - Portal application documents
- Latest electricity bill showing consumer number and DISCOM (Torrent Power, UGVCL, MGVCL or PGVCL).
- Aadhaar / photo ID of the applicant, matching the connection name.
- Mobile number linked to the connection for OTP verification.
- Email address for portal notifications.
Stage 2 - Ownership and premises documents
- Property ownership proof - sale deed, index copy, or municipal tax receipt.
- Society or housing NOC for roof use in apartments and shared buildings.
- Roof photographs and, where available, a rough roof plan for the feasibility check.
- Load sanction letter if you are enhancing sanctioned load for a larger system.
Stage 3 - Installation and commissioning documents
- Vendor quotation and work order listing module make, model and DCR status, inverter make and warranty terms.
- Invoice and payment receipts for the installed system.
- DCR certificate for the modules and inverter compliance documents.
- Net metering application and DISCOM commissioning certificate after inspection.
Stage 4 - Subsidy claim documents
- Cancelled cheque or bank passbook front page in the applicant's name.
- Bank account details (account number and IFSC) entered on the portal.
- Plant details submitted on the portal after commissioning.
