Adani Solar Panels: Full Review, Price List & Why We Use Them

We fit Adani mono bifacial modules on most Ahmedabad rooftops. Here is the honest case for them - technology, warranty, installed price and where they are not the right pick.

Solar Panel Ahmedabad - Adani Solar Approved InstallerLast updated:

Adani is a Gujarat-manufactured, ALMM-listed module brand with DCR-compliant lines - which makes it a natural default for subsidised rooftops in Ahmedabad. This is our working review after fitting them across residential roofs in the city.

What we install: mono bifacial

Our standard residential package uses Adani mono PERC bifacial modules. Bifacial cells generate from the rear face as well, picking up light reflected off the roof surface, which is why we mount them on an elevated structure with clearance rather than flush to the slab. On a light-coloured terrace the rear-side gain is real, though it varies with roof colour, height and season.

  • Technology: mono PERC bifacial, glass-backsheet construction on our standard package.
  • Performance warranty: not less than 90% output at year 10, not less than 80% at year 30.
  • Rated module life: not less than 30 years.
  • DCR status: DCR-compliant lines available, which is what keeps the ₹78,000 subsidy valid.

Adani solar panel price in Ahmedabad: real installed numbers

Module-only prices float with cell markets, so the useful number is the installed system price. These are our live quoted packages using Adani mono bifacial modules:

Installed Adani mono bifacial system prices, Ahmedabad
SystemPriceSubsidyNet payablePer kW
3.3 kWp₹1,64,000₹78,000₹86,000~₹49,700
3.85 kWp₹1,88,800₹78,000₹1,10,800~₹49,000
4.4 kWp₹2,14,500₹78,000₹1,36,500~₹48,750

For context, published Ahmedabad market ranges are around ₹1,50,000–₹2,10,000 pre-subsidy for 3kW and ₹2,40,000–₹3,50,000 for 5kW, so these sit inside the real band while using tier-1 modules. See /pricing for the full inclusion list.

Where Adani is the right choice

  • You want DCR compliance without hunting for it - essential for the residential subsidy.
  • You value local manufacturing and service proximity in Gujarat.
  • Your roof is light-coloured or elevated, so bifacial rear gain actually materialises.
  • You are keeping the house long term and care about the 30-year output curve.

Where it may not be

  • Very tight roofs where the highest-wattage module available matters more than brand - sometimes another ALMM brand offers a better fit per square foot.
  • Flush-mounted installations on dark surfaces, where bifacial gain is minimal and you pay for a feature you cannot use.
  • Lowest-possible-budget builds - cheaper ALMM options exist; just verify DCR status before trading down.
